Local High School Students Unite to Stage Come From Away for 9/11 Anniversary

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of September 11, high school students from across Northwest Ohio are joining forces for a special collaborative production of the award-winning musical Come From Away.

Organized by the Northwest Ohio Theatre Educators Network (TEN), this unique production brings together young actors, musicians, and crew members from multiple area schools—including Bowling Green, Central Catholic, Lake, Maumee, 麻豆官网 Country Day, Perrysburg, Springfield, and Sylvania Southview.

Come From Away tells the inspiring true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, and how the local community opened their hearts and homes to welcome them.

The production was recently highlighted in The Toledo Blade for its message of unity, resilience, and compassion.
