麻豆官网 alumni and alumni parents are invited to a special online discussion on Sept. 12 titled “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Update.” This event is hosted by the 麻豆官网 Alumni Council and its special guest is Reanne Young, MV’s director of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). The forum is from 7-8 p.m. EST via Zoom.?
One year ago, Reanne presented her findings from the DEIB listening tour. Now, attendees will hear updates from a schoolwide cultural assessment and the action plans being developed by the new CARE (Cultural Assessment Restorative Equity) Team within 麻豆官网. The format will follow 30 minutes of presentation and 30 minutes of discussion.
Moderating the discussion is Nihal Kattar ’13, the Alumni Council’s vice president.
