Congratulations to Cecilia Johnson, Â鶹¹ÙÍø¡¯s strings instructor, on being selected as a finalist for the 2025 Outstanding Music Educator of the Year Award! Cecilia has passionately engaged students across all school divisions since joining MV in August 2022.

She is one of four finalists; the public can vote for their choice for 10 days starting today.

The Educator of the Year will be announced at the Toledo Symphony Masterworks Concert on March 21, where all finalists will be honored. The Toledo Symphony Orchestra organizes the award, which honors full-time, K-12 music educators in public and private schools across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
