We are excited to offer a family book club, starting with the parenting book by Dr. Becky Kennedy.

Club leaders are Betsey van de Heijning, the Â鶹¹ÙÍø counselor, and Robin Wheeler, interim head of the Â鶹¹ÙÍø. The book provides practical tools to navigate difficult situations with empathy and support while aiming to foster resilient and confident children through a positive mindset.

It¡¯s sure to lead to some great conversations. The club meets at 8:15 a.m. on these Wednesdays: Feb. 19, March 19, and April 30. During our first meeting, we will discuss part one of the book, where Dr. Becky outlines her parenting principles.

The two remaining meetings (March 10 and April 30) will focus on building connections and addressing behaviors. Everyone is welcome to join any of the conversations whether or not you have read her book. Please respond to to help us prepare.
