It¡¯s time again to start a new school year with our annual kick-off event: Hawks Take Off. The event is Monday, Aug. 19, from 5-8 p.m. The event provides time to meet our faculty and staff and get to know our classroom spaces as well as celebrate our wonderful community. Remember to bring a blanket or lawn chairs for the Anning Lawn!

Schedule of events
- 5-6 p.m.: Students and families can enter campus buildings, access their lockers, drop off supplies, and see their classrooms, teachers, and advisors.
- 5:30 p.m (Optional): Listen to a brief presentation on restorative practices, which will introduce you to Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø¡¯s philosophy on student behavior. The event is in the Upper School¡¯s Kasperzak Center and is led by Jana Smith, dean of students.
- 5:30-8 p.m.: Younger Hawks can enjoy time in a bounce house on the Anning Lawn. Everyone is free to visit with campus experts on nearly a dozen topics at information booths both on the Anning Lawn and inside at various locations
- 5-8 p.m.: Food trucks from Jikoni Toledo and Uncle Louie¡¯s as well as a lemonade truck will be available.
- 6-8 p.m.: Listen to the sounds of Steel Sounds, a live steel drum band, on the Anning Lawn.
